Mayor Bruce Nordick
I come from a long line of Nordick’ that immigrated to this area from Germany back in the early 1900s. My ancestors were very much part of the land and infrastructure development in the Englefeld and Watson area. The majority were farmers, but many have gone on to expand and grow elsewhere across North America.
For me? I was born and raised 5 miles northwest of Watson, graduating high school in 1988, moved away to attend broadcasting college and became a radio personality for about a decade. Eventually moving back to this area to work for Schulte Industries, and now employed as the Saskatchewan sales manager with Kubota Canada.
I’ve traveled North America extensively for almost 30 years including some overseas destinations, primarily for work, so my life experience is vast! I’ve experienced enough to share some great ideas for our community. I want to help Watson expand and grow for a long, promising future.
I love Watson. This is my home and my roots run deep. Giving back to a community that has given my family and I so much has always been on my radar.
I consider myself very fortunate to have this opportunity to represent the people of Watson for the next 4 years.
