The Town of Watson acknowledges its presence on Treaty 4 Territory. Treaty 4 is the traditional territory of the nēhiyawak (Cree), Anihšināpēk (Saulteaux), Nakota, Lakota, and Dakota people, and is the homeland of the Métis/Michif nation. As a town residing within these territories, it is our priority to gain a deeper understanding of our shared histories and contemporary relationships. Indigenization and reconciliation are our collective responsibilities.
